Wigsticks 2010

On the eve of July 31st, the only place to be was in Milford PA at the annual WIGSTICKS fundraiser for the Upper Delaware Valley GLBT center the brilliantly produced DragCamp by our own Steady Mess, with sidekick Mille Shayntwrite taking us back to our daze of sleepaway camp which really was a drag camp wasn't it?

"Steady Mess" a young Edie Gourmet (google it bitch!) great with those one liners and girlfriend sure can sing, with Millie (she aint right yet) but she and Steady, like a modern day Lucy and Ethel kept us laughing all night.

The show featured the high camp talents of Skinay Biatch who we quite frankly feel is so fabulous looking she should give up this drag silliness, get her skinny ass on America's Next Top Model, knock Heidi Klum off that Victoria's Secret runway, and sign a beauty contract with Lancome... So there, we said it...

And we never saw anyone twirl a baton like that Naylana Cross, only dropping it a few times, obviously developing her twirling technique in one too many of those Little Miss Pecan Pie pageants she competed in as a child....

The unsinkable Ermine Muff who dusted off her muff especially for her Wigsticks performance, Melody Kool, who certainly was, and the adorable, and petite, Lily Putian, who we remember as Baby June in Gypsy, Young Cosette in Les Mis, and Baby Pebbles in The Flintstones.

A special shout out to Timorell, the man behind the music, to Patty T, the gal behind the organization, to Arnold and Fabio, who just like behinds, and the countless campers who created the real blast of the evening when they poured gasoline into the bonfire redefining the term Campfire Girls.

And our own Bridget, as lovely as ever, passed out cold on a bench in front of the dance, where someone lovingly covered her with a sheet, like a sleeping beauty, waiting for her prince, or princess, or her princess who was once a prince, or a dwarf... (will someone please
 stop me?)
